Does your Instant Pot beep all the time, driving your dog crazy!? (Or quite possibly terrifying him/her 😂)
Most of your kitchen appliances communicate through cryptic noises, beeps being the most common. Although this feature is useful for many of us (how else do you know what’s going on), some of us find these reminders obnoxious.
The pitch of Instapots is particularly shrill.
If Instant Pot beeps are driving you nuts, we’re here to tell you that… you probably didn’t read the instruction manual as thoroughly as you thought!
We’re here to tell you that silencing your IP Duo Nova is as easy as: IP Duo owners just need to:
Sound Off: When in Standby, press and hold − button until display indicates SOFF.
And to reverse:
Sound On: When in Standby, press and hold + button until display indicates S On.
Don’t worry, none of the IP models will ever silence safety alerts.
But what if
“I hate the Instant Pot’s grating beep, but I still want to know when my food is done!”
Many of us use alternative alarm systems to remind us when our food is finished. Here’s what our team uses:
“The Instant Pot beep isn’t loud enough! Can I turn it up?”
Unfortunately, if you need even louder volume your best will be setting a second or third timer.
